«Thank you for participating in the inaugural International Urushi Association Kintsugi Certification.
We are pleased to share your assessment report, which reflects the thoughtful evaluation of your submitted repairs by our appointed evaluators, Issei Hattori and Yuuka Kurosu.
Congratulations on reaching this important milestone in your kintsugi journey. Pursuing certification requires dedication, patience, and the willingness to have your work carefully evaluated, and we sincerely appreciate the effort and care you invested throughout the process.
The attached report includes personalized feedback intended to support your continued growth as a kintsugi practitioner. Rather than simply measuring a result, the evaluation highlights both the strengths demonstrated in your work and the areas that will help you continue developing your craftsmanship.
Your official International Urushi Association certificate is currently being prepared. We hope it will serve as a lasting recognition of your achievement and a reminder of how far you have already come. We look forward to seeing how your skills and artistic expression continue to evolve in the years ahead.
We are also excited to share that we are currently developing the official International Urushi Association website. As part of the launch, we plan to introduce a directory of certified practitioners, similar to our POJ Studio Alumni Directory. If you would like to be included, your profile can serve as a reference for collectors, clients, and others looking for certified kintsugi practitioners. We will be in touch soon with more details and the opportunity to opt in.
Finally, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for being among the very first practitioners to participate in the International Urushi Association’s Kintsugi Certification. As this inaugural certification cycle has been a learning experience for us as well, we sincerely appreciate your patience, trust, and support throughout the process. Your participation has helped lay the foundation for a certification that we hope will continue to recognize excellence in kintsugi while supporting the future of urushi craftsmanship.
Congratulations once again, and we wish you every success on your continuing kintsugi journey.»
